Villa Lume
Villa Lume seen from above, alone on its hill

The Villa

A farmhouse, a hill, a valley.

A traditional Marchigiano farmhouse, restored with care, standing alone on its own hill above the valley.

The house faces the light. From almost every room you see across to the hill towns and, on clear days, to the snow on the Sibillini. There are no neighbours to speak of — only olive trees, a long drive, and the sound of the valley.

Inside: stone walls, timber beams, terracotta floors and wide arched windows that fold open in summer, so the living rooms and terraces become one.

Four double bedrooms in the main house, plus a separate private suite. The villa sleeps around ten.

Rooms

Stone, timber and lamplight.

Each bedroom is quiet and generous, dressed simply in natural linen. The separate suite has its own entrance — for a couple, a facilitator, or whoever needs a little more distance.

Outside

Water, heat, cold and movement.

Pool

Long and still, on the edge of the hill, facing west for the sunset.

Hot tub

Set to take in the whole valley, best after dark.

Sauna & ice bath

A timber sauna in the garden, with a cold plunge alongside.

Gym

Light and glazed, looking over the pool and the hills.

Padel court

Floodlit, and surprisingly competitive.

Poolside bar

For long afternoons and early evenings.
